The story of a nice tour of Colorado on my R50/2
I took my /2 to Colorado about a month ago. It ran great. In the high country it idled down a bit. But, it ran okay. Have you ever been to Cripple Creek or Victoria ? The temperature changes quickly in the high altitude. I did some back road exploring in the gold mining hills close to Cripple Creek. At one point I was soaking in a cool mountain stream in what seemed like 90 degree weather. A couple miles up the road I was chilling in 70 degree breeze. While crossing Kansas to and from Arkansas the ole bike buzzed right along. I cruised between 65 and 70 most of the trip. It crept up to 75 a couple of times. I questioned if the rubber solo seat would be comfortable. The solo seat was as comfortable as any seat. The bike does not accelerate fast, but that is okay with me.
